Well that was a fun night!

Recently it was my buddy Paulie’s 32nd birthday. For his 31th he hosted the HUGE party Paulie-Palooza and this year was Paulie-gras! It certainly wasn’t as big of a party, but it was still one heck of a good time!!!!

The man of the hour himself.. PAULIE!

Benny showing his Pauliegras T-shirt!

Mr. Schmidt himself – THE designer of pozland.com!

And all of these people showed up JUST for Paulie

Greg, Thor or Manny Fresh… one of those was his name, I just don’t remember. — edit: Paulie’s told me his name is in fact Thor

Mr. Cennon’s treat-of-the-week

My new career move – male stripper!

Hmm… here’s a sight you’ll rarely see. Going from Corona to Keiths to Grest Western Premium Light and now back to Corona again. Personally I think I’ll stick with Keith’s as Corona tastes like … well, I’m not going to say on this mostly G-rated website.

Chris & Pozzy

I slowly made my way down the stairs at the bar (we were on the 3rd floor) and as I got to the bottom, I tripped and fell right into this guy. He had to be two times the size of me. I expected a fight to ensue but he helped me to my feet, gave me a hug and laughed it off. Needless to say, he got a free beer for not wiping me across the floor! The best part is that his nickname is “Grunk”

Hoop & Paulie – Shoop spend 6 years in Tokyo working for Nova… poor poor guy.

Somehow I don’t think this shot will sell to Vanity Faire

Who is she? I don’t know… who cares??

Day 5 finally rolled around and what to do? Well, I could actually go and DO STUFF! I was a 5 minute walk from Disney Land after-all! So after waking up, taking a great shower and enjoying the view from the shower’s full-sized window

(yea, no kidding… kinky eh?), I decided to head downstairs to the hotel’s restaraunt and find some decent food… all I could do was find a Japanese style breakfast though (sigh). As some of you may know, I’m not much of a breakfast person so it was quite tough to choke down so much food that I would normally heat up prior to consuming.
but oh well, I still did manage to not hurl! One would think that after spending so much time over there I would become acustom to it, well normally that is true but after being back in Canada for such a stint of time that’s not always the case!

I finally made it through breakfast and decided to catch the Disney Shuttle across the ‘park’ (about the size of eight football fields) to Disney Sea and take in the “Site B” of Disney. Upon walking through the massive front-gates, I noticed a that there is an incredibly massive sculpture of the Earth… a huge globe welcomed us. The globe was incredible for one main reason, not only was it 6 meters wide, but the oceans actually had water falling down them, it made for quite a scene!

Now I have never been to Europe, so I wouldn’t know what to expect if I was dropped right in the middle of, however I like to think that Disney Sea is a pretty good representation of what Italy might look like. Most of Disney Sea (or DS from now on) is fashioned after different parts of Europe, mostly from Italy and possibly Rome as well.

As we made our way through the park, I noticed that it was very windy that day, more-so than usual. I finally discovered why! The edge of DS was only meters from the ocean’s edge, and if you have ever been to ANY ocean, you might have noticed that the wind isn’t exactly what one could call ‘calm’. I had to chuckle and take a picture just to show you how windy it was.

After walking around for about an hour, I found myself at the “Under The Sea” section of the park. This area was crafted after Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” and it was incredible to see. When I first very strange to experience and as I tell others, it was what I imagined the bottom of the ocean would have looked like if I was on an acid-trip. You be the judge!

Wishful thinking, perhaps?

In and around DS and also Tokyo Disney Land, there are many MANY popcorn vendors and they have the strangest popcorn I have ever seen… from Curry Popcorn to Coconut Popcorn and even Curry Popcorn (YUCK!)

In the evenings, DS offers an incredible water show. In the very center of the grounds is a massive … umm… how can I explain it….. pool? The water is actually a small filtered salt-lake that was pumped in directly from the Pacific Ocean, only meters away. The water show is incredible and features an epic battle between the Water spirit and the Fire Spirit. Can you guess who wins?

And that was Day 5. Any questions?
