I know I should be grossed out by Gorie, but y’know, I just can’t help but keep my eyes glued to his cohorts and the rest of the young ladies that are dancing. I’m really not sure the story behind this video, but it was given to me from Sachi. The two singers are Jasmine (the Hawaiian native) and Joann (the pleasant-looking blonde girl). Joann’s voice is nice but Jasmine’s is incredibly stereotypically Japanese-female (incredibly high pitched and very ‘cute’). I don’t mind hearing Joann sing, but Jasmine’s just… can’t… stop… I just can’t turn this friggin video off!!! WHAT’S WRONG WITH ME!?

Canada Day celebrations here in Saskatoon entail fireworks. In the past, the fireworks have been equal to that of a dozen ‘roman candles’. This year was slightly better, but even the private residents of the beach-side complexes in South Carolina do a better job for their 4th of July celebrations.

While riding on the train to the station of Yoga, I see some neat things such as sleeping people, electronics and for the first time ever, I see just how fast they are going – 62km/hour! Nifty! Sumimasorry!

While still on the train, I discover it makes some damn creepy sounds. We cross over Tama River and into the area of Futako Tamakawa where I used to work at GABA (the English conversation school). It might be noted as well that this is the express line so next would be Sangenjaya and then Shibuya. If you look hard enough, you can see the park that I got drunk in many a pleasant time and even where I met Hiroyuki, one of my buddies.

Walking through the surburb of Tokyo called Yoga, we check out some shops, I almost get hit by a motorbike, we get the thumbs up from a docomo salesman and check out some of the 100 yen shops while on our way to the Tokyo Agruiculture University

I have a whole cache of photos that were taken throughout the last couple of years and figured I’d share some of them with you throughout the ages and not force you to ONLY watch the videos and such (don’t worry, I’ll show more of those later).

Here’s a good example of someone’s day gone badly. Don’t ask how it got up there… just… don’t ask.

After parking, we take a quick walk through the parkcade to get upstairs to pick up my new keitei (cell phone). Sorry about all of the cussing and swearing, I got overly-excited to see all of the drool-worthy cars.

This little guy was squaking and even hissing at us as he perched upon his dead mouse. Don’t worry man, I’m not interested, trust me on that!

I forget her name, but the one in the center is my favorite Japanese models. Funny thing is that she (well, the trio) do numerous advertisements for ‘Combini Kosme’ (Convinient Store Cosmetics). Not that there’s anything wrong with those, just that they’re alot more popular in Japan than they are in….. anywhere else.

You see some crazy stuff in Nikotama (Futako Tamakawa district of Tokyo), located right beside Tama River.

(last one for today….)

From 5-foot long escalators to 1-yen keitei cellphone’s, I really don’t have any reason to dislike Japan! It’s just tons of fun! What were we doing here? Shopping for a keitei handset for me, OF COURSE!!!! Sharp 903SH here I come!!!!
