It’s the time of the year when people get fed up with doing nothing at home and decide to take off for a road trip, and I was one of those people. I had some choices, out to B.C, maybe out in the direction of Ontario, possibly even South to Regina, but no no… I chose something a little more different.

Firstly I made my way out to Calgary, Alberta to visit my buddy Mark and take in an airsoft game. After that, Mark decided to team up with me and join me along the way down to Montana in the USA. It was a good trip, and over the next few updates you’ll be able to see what I did, experience what I experienced and fear what I feared…. 100-meter drops off the sides of the mountains in Glacier National Park (Montana, USA).

Not too long ago I made a friend by the name of Hiroto. He’s quite a nice guy and we discovered that we have osme similar interests, such as airsoft. After becoming buddies and attending a couple games of airsoft together, we started hanging out a littl more often. Not long after that, his new bridge Noriko moved overseas with him (she had some things to finish up back in japan). They make a great couple, and are both very friendly and naturally happy people.
About a month ago Hiroto told me that his mother and father in-law were going to be visiting Canada to see what it’s like and to visit them so they could see how thigns were going for the new bridge and groom. He mentioned this to me and told me that they didn’t have a place to stay and asked me of some nice, but not too expensive hotels. Well heck, why would I suggest a hotel where they would be paying $100/night when I can just offer an the extra bedroom I have? So for a few nights Hiroto’s parents, Keiko and Hotaru. To say thank you for lettig them stay in my home, they brought a Tako-Yaki cooker. Now, if you’ve ever heard any of my stories from Japan, you might recall the one where my food was moving and waving back and forth. Yea, that’s Tako-Yaki! Hurrah!
