Due to all of the school shootings in recent years, it is no surprise that police forces world-wide are beefing up their training and officers. Some of the more recent training involves mock scenarios at high schools, elementary schools and even universities to make sure that the police forces are familiar with the layouts of the buildings, should they be called to act. While walking to my class one day, I saw a large grouping of E.R.T. police members outside of one of the buildings and as it turns out, they were doing some training with new members of the team. Good luck fellas!

And of course, to protect the privacy of the officers, eyes have been removed.

Shortly after leaving the campus, I noticed a white flake…. IT WAS SNOW! Damnit! It can’t snow! Not yet!!! Sadly, I was correct and it was snow. However what I thought might end up being only one or two flakes of the white stuff, turned out to be quite a bit more. We had a small blizzard that day all within the time-span of 20 minutes. 12:15pm I saw a white flake of snow. At 12:22 there was quite a bit more. At 12:26 there was a full-fledged snow-fall. By 12:33 there was a small blizzard on our hands!

While using the mens stand-up urinal, I wondered just what exactly might those little machines be carrying that I see in front of me every time I need to erm… take care of business. The one directly in front of me happened to carry some sort of herbal aphrodisiac. What was inside of said product? 1200mg of ginseng and 400mg of ‘Smilax Offinalis” whatever the hell that is. I’m pretty sure it’s the clinical name for “grass clippings”.

Yea, and for the record, happy halloween!

For a while, I was wondering just why a couple buddies of mine couldn’t get enough of a so called comedian by the name of Louis C.K. They had me sit down and watch an episode of his short-lived TV show “Lucky Louie”. It involved a 14 year old anorexic girl screaming and swearing profanities that would make a sailor blush at her elders. I didn’t understand, but my buddies kept laughing and giggling. That’s nice and all, but … huh? What’s so funny about that?

Louie’s way of explaining the swearing was “I want to show how people talk in real life.” Umm… excuse me? What kind of horrible house-hold did you grow up in to have to deal with that? My god! What a terrible show,what a terrible comedian. I ended up watching his interview on Conan O’Brian, but he still simply isn’t funny. Would someone like to explain just why he is considered funny? I could just as easily write a show about a failing marriage with children that live in neighboring apartments who come over, eat your food and scream profanities when you run out of the kind of soda they like.

Someone on one of my past videos to take a chance and drive up/down some of the West areas of Saskatoon. Well I took their advice and did it, showing some of the not-so-bad streets as well as some of the skummiest streets around. Enjoy!
