Laptop Time
So I need a new laptop. Small is the name of the game; does anyone out there have any suggestions for this one?
Oh, here’s some photos for you to enjoy as well.
And something to eat…?
Not too tasty, let me tell you!

While at the local Asian grocery store, I found a little packet of these things. I had heard about them but forgot entirely as to what they were for, so I bought a couple of packs. I made a leap of faith and decided to try eating one, thankfully for me, they were quite tasty and were a candy from long ago. The taste was like a less-sweet inside of a malted-milk ball. Basically take one of those, remove 3/4 of the sugar and you have one of these! they come in actual tablet form, so they make for an interesting chewing experience. Also don’t make the same mistake that I did and take a big swig of coke right after chewing one of these into powder form… unless you enjoy having foam spray out of your mouth!
While living in Japan, I once ate a little too much of something and it didn’t want to… umm… ‘exit’. So what is a boy to do? He goes to the closest pharmacy and try in broken Japanese to explain the problem using hand gestures and eventually hand drawn pictures showing nothing ‘leaving’ the body. It had to be done…
So what do you do when this happens? You buy the first product that is suggested to you. Sadly since I was a foreigner, I was given the super-extra-rape-your-intestines-strength medication. Needless to say, I think I crapped about four feet of lower intestine.
Watch out for this stuff!
A total eclipse of the Moon occurs during the night of Wednesday, February 20/21, 2008. The entire event is visible from South America and most of North America (on Feb. 20) as well as Western Europe, Africa, and western Asia (on Feb. 21). During a total lunar eclipse, the Moon’s disk can take on a dramatically colorful appearance from bright orange to blood red to dark brown and (rarely) very dark gray.
In one of the buildings, there are some dinosaur bones as well as a few little creatures that are not exactly native to Canada. This are they!
A neat thing about house-sitting is that you get to live in someone else’s house and play with all of their toys. In my case, I need to put up with a yowling cat, but what makes up for that is high-speed internet, a LOVELY surround sound and a NICE big tv as well.
